Petite English Bell Jar Lantern with Etched Stars
A petite 19th century hand blown glass bell jar lantern from England with etched stars. Full in form and rich in character, this circa 1880 pendant is ideal for a smaller space or an area with a lower ceiling height. The brass band, which has an embossed vine motif, has been replaced to ensure the structural integrity of the fixture. The light has been newly electrified with a three-bulb candelabra cluster accommodating up to 60 watts per bulb. It arrives ready to install from the toned brass ceiling canopy and chain provided.
Note: Faint fogginess in a small area of the lid, which is not uncommon in glass of this age. It will not, however, distract from the beauty of the bell jar light when hanging.
Dimensions: 8.25" diameter x 15.75" height (overall length of fixture)
