Antique Clear Glass Bell Jar Lantern
A beautiful handblown glass bell jar lantern from England, circa 1880, with its original brass band. The band, which has an embossed leaf pattern, is the perfect decoration on this otherwise unadorned hall lantern. The pendant has been newly electrified with a three-bulb candelabra cluster accommodating up to 60 watts per bulb. Toned brass ceiling canopy and chain are provided.
Notes: The bottom of the glass pontil is asymmetrical because a piece has been missing for many years (see image #7). There is also insignificant cloudiness in the rim of the smoke bell (see image #6). Neither of these will be a distraction when the lantern is hanging.
Dimensions: 9" diameter x 16.75" height (overall length of fixture)
