19th Century English Globe Bell Jar Lantern with Vine Etching
A hand blown glass globe bell jar lantern from England, circa 1860, with lovely form and a fluidly etched vine motif. The lantern features its original brass band and finial, which is difficult to find in a globe this old. Shown here with a decorated smoke bell/lid, the choice of a plain glass lid (without etching) is also available. The light has been newly electrified with a three-bulb candelabra cluster accommodating up to 60 watts per bulb. It arrives ready to install from the toned brass ceiling canopy and chain provided.
Dimensions: 8" diameter x 16.25" height (overall length of fixture)
