19th Century Belgian Cranberry Glass Globe Bell Jar Lantern
A charming and rare cranberry-colored hand blown glass globe bell jar lantern from Belgium, circa 1890, with attractive form and its original embossed brass band and chains. The globe's collar has the manufacturer's pressed mark, "EPM," and the words "Fire Proof—Made in Belgium." Originally for candlelight, the pendant has been newly electrified with a three-bulb candelabra cluster that accommodates up to 60 watts per bulb. It arrives ready to install from the toned brass ceiling canopy and chain provided (as shown). Note that there are some small, age-related imperfections in the glass, as well as superficial scratches. The lantern is still beautiful; however, priced accordingly.
Dimensions: 8.50" diameter (at girth); 17.50" height (overall length of fixture)
