19th Century Carved, Painted Teak Wood Panel from India
A beautiful, authentic architectural artifact from Ahmedabad, India. This circa 1850 hand-carved teak wood panel was once a section of ceiling cornice likely from the haveli of a prosperous Indian family. The wood is carved in one-inch relief, and retains much of its original green paint.
